  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer below.

1 Scope of this policy

This policy applies to airambulanceservice.in (the "Site"), operated by Safe Fly Aviation Services Pvt Ltd ("Safe Fly Aviation", "we", "us", "our"), and to the personal information we collect when you browse the Site, submit an enquiry or quote request, or otherwise contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp about an air ambulance, medevac, or medical repatriation flight.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), Safe Fly Aviation acts as a Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy, and you (or the patient on whose behalf you are enquiring) are the Data Principal.

2 Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, organisation (if enquiring as a hospital, insurer, corporate client or embassy).
  • Enquiry and quote details — departure and destination locations, preferred dates, and (as applicable) patient information described in Section 3.
  • Correspondence — records of calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages exchanged while we assess and arrange your flight.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard web log data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring website, typically collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

Information from other sources

  • Where a flight is arranged on your behalf, we may receive information about you from a treating hospital, referring physician, insurer, corporate employer, or family member making the request.

3 Health & sensitive personal information

Arranging a medically appropriate flight requires clinical information about the patient. Where you submit an enquiry or quote request for an air ambulance, medevac, or medical escort flight, we may collect health-related information such as diagnosis, mobility and stretcher requirements, oxygen or ventilator needs, and other equipment or staffing requirements.

This is treated as sensitive personal data. We collect it only with your (or the patient's authorised representative's) consent, use it solely to assess, plan and deliver the requested medical transport — including selecting the aircraft, medical crew and equipment, and briefing the receiving hospital — and do not use it for any unrelated purpose, such as

4 How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote for an air ambulance, medevac, or medical escort flight.
  • To plan and co-ordinate the flight itself — selecting aircraft, medical crew, ground ambulances, and securing necessary permits and clearances.
  • To communicate with you before, during and after the flight, including in emergencies.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, aviation, customs and immigration requirements applicable to the flight.
  • To maintain records for insurance, billing, and dispute-resolution purposes.
  • To improve the Site and understand how visitors use it, using the aggregated or anonymised data described in Section 6.

We do not use patient health information for marketing. General contact details are used for marketing communications only where you have separately opted in, and you may opt out at any time by contacting us (Section 15).

5 Legal basis & consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit an enquiry, quote request, or other form on the Site, or otherwise contact us. For sensitive information such as health data, we rely on your explicit consent, given for the specific purpose of arranging your flight.

You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and may affect our ability to continue arranging or supporting an in-progress flight.
